EUCALYPTUS OIL

Eucalyptus is known as one of the tallest trees in the world. Its native land is Southern Australia and Tasmania. It can also grow in the Mediterranean Region. There are 500 different species of Eucalyptus. The content and modes of action of all these species differ from each other. The most commonly used species in medicine are Eucalyptus Citriodora, Eucalyptus Globulus, and Radiata.

Approximately 50 kilograms of eucalyptus plant sprouts and leaves can yield about 1 liter of essential oil in total through the steam distillation method. For this reason, it is a quite valuable oil. Eucalyptus oil is colorless. It has a sharp and fresh scent. It is suitable for inhalation. It spreads and penetrates quickly.

In the physical realm, eucalyptus oil is antibacterial and antiviral. It is known as an antifungal and anti-inflammatory. Its effects in the spiritual realm are revitalizing and enhancing focus.

Eucalyptus oil can be used alone with a diffuser, as well as with thyme, cedar, cajeput, and lemon oils.

For children under 7 years old, it is not recommended to use eucalyptus oil in the nasal area.

• It can be added to bath water as a supplement. If used in the sauna, it spreads with the heat, leaves a fresh effect, and gives a refreshed feeling.
• When used with a diffuser in a room, it kills viruses and bacteria in the air. (Antiviral and antibacterial) It disinfects the air.
• If you have a cold and your respiratory tract is blocked because of it, you can drop 1–2 drops of eucalyptus oil on your pillow while sleeping at night. (Not suitable for children under 7 years old.)

Reminder: It is not recommended to apply essential oils directly to the skin or take them orally.

If it is to be applied to the skin, it must be diluted with carrier oils. Follow the instructions on the label regarding the usage of the product you have purchased. As it is a potent oil, it must be used in specific dosages.
