What is Artichoke Extract Water?

Aksu Vital Artichoke Water is an herbal essence obtained by applying pasteurization to artichoke extract. Extracts are derived by applying special extraction methods to dried plants. Simply put, an extract is the concentrated essence of a plant.

Benefits of Artichoke Extract Water

The artichoke in Aksu Vital Artichoke Water belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is a perennial herbaceous plant, 50–150 cm tall, with blue-purple flowers. Its origin is Southern Europe and the Mediterranean region. In Turkey, artichokes are mostly grown in the Aegean and Marmara regions.

The active compound in artichoke is cynarin. Additionally, it is rich in phenolic compounds, inulin, and minerals. The leaves also contain medicinal active ingredients. Artichoke has a low-fat content but is rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Especially rich in vitamins C and K, flavonoids, and minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and potassium, it is a unique plant. Due to its many known benefits, it has been used in medicine for centuries.

Fill ¼ of a tea glass with artichoke extract water and top it up with drinking water.
