Juniper oil is a volatile, natural oil obtained by the distillation method from the fruits and leaves of the juniper plant. Junipers are coniferous plants. The Juniper Tree (Juniperus L.) is a tree belonging to the Juniperus genus of the cypress family, with a pleasant fragrance, sharp long leaves, black, cone-shaped fruits, capable of growing up to an average of 8-9 meters, and can live for hundreds of years.

Rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins, juniper oil contains all the positive properties found in the natural juniper plant.

For centuries, the branches, fruits, and leaves of trees in the Juniperus genus have been used in medicines and tinctures. It contains organic acids, glucose, sucrose, juniperin, resin, and bitter substances. Its main components are alpha-pinene, camphene, beta-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, alpha-phellandrene, alpha-terpinene, gamma-terpinene, cineole, beta-phellandrene, para-cymene, terpineol, bornyl acetate, and caryophyllene. It also contains trace amounts of limonene, camphor, linalool, linalyl acetate, borneol, and nerol.

While juniper oil is known physically as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, spiritually it is revitalizing and concentration-enhancing.

JUNIPER OIL USAGE RECOMMENDATION

Can be used in skin care by massaging externally. Helps nourish and moisturize the skin. NOT FOR INGESTION.

As it is a volatile oil, it may cause allergic effects such as redness and burning on the skin. Therefore, it should be mixed and used with carrier oils.
