ROSE OIL

Rose oil is extracted from the petals of Rosa damascena roses from the Rosaceae family; a thorny plant species that blooms with fragrant flowers in red, pink, white, and yellow colors. It contains geraniol, eugenol, rhodinol, citronellol, and phenethyl alcohol. Very valuable rose oil is obtained from its flowers.

Rose oil, frequently used by Ottoman physicians, has been used from past to present in aromatherapy and for its pleasant fragrance.

Although there are about 150 rose (Rosa sp.) species in the world, very few of them are utilized in the fragrance industry. Among the fragrant rose species, the one with the highest economic value in our province is Rosa damascena Mill. (Damask rose), known as the "Isparta rose".

With its refreshing and relaxing effect, it can be used in aromatherapy applications. You can add drops into your creams and makeup removers to make them more natural and give them a pleasant fragrance.

It can be used in skin care by massaging externally. It helps nourish and moisturize the skin.

Content: Rose Oil (Oleum Rose Damescana, 2-Butanol, Benzyl Acetate, (Phenethyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Alpha-Terpineol)).
As it is an essential oil, it may cause allergic effects such as redness and burning on the skin. Therefore, it should be mixed and used with carrier oils.

Obtained by distillation method. Diluted at a 1/8 ratio.
