What is Rose Vinegar?

Aksuvital Rose Vinegar is a type of vinegar obtained from carefully selected rose petals through a natural fermentation process. No commercial accelerated fermentation methods are used. The raw materials are not subjected to high heat; the product ferments naturally over time. During fermentation, beneficial microorganisms formed by natural vinegar culture are preserved, producing a vinegar that is additive-free and made using natural methods.

Because it is produced through traditional natural fermentation, after opening the cap, exposure to air may result in sediment, color changes, or a transparent layer on the surface called the “Mother of Vinegar.” These are not signs of spoilage and the vinegar can be filtered and used again. This indicates that fermentation is continuing and that the vinegar is unpasteurized and unfiltered.
