Safflower oil is obtained from the seeds of the Carthamus tinctorius plant by cold pressing. Safflower oil contains CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid). The 35% CLA content in safflower oil provides benefits, especially for those who exercise regularly.

It is extracted from the safflower plant. The plant has a needle-like appearance and is called false saffron.

In terms of properties, safflower oil resembles sunflower oil. However, it surpasses all other oils in nutritional value. Its linoleic acid content is quite high (80%). Therefore, it maintains its durability for a certain period.

Its vitamin E content is very high, and its vitamin A value is also considerable.

Rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins, safflower oil contains all the positive properties found in the seeds of the natural safflower plant.

Safflower oil also contains vitamins B1, B2, B12, and C. It is one of the oils richest in linoleic acid and is the most widely used cold-pressed oil in the world. Cold-pressed oils should not be heated.

USAGE AREAS OF SAFFLOWER OIL

• It is a powerful antioxidant and can be used by adding to salads.

• It is beneficial for hair and skin.

As a different use; In Anatolia, especially in Diyarbak?r and its surroundings, yellow safflower flowers are used to color rice dishes.
