Known by its Latin name Sambucus, and commonly as Black Elderberry, it belongs to the Adoxaceae family. It grows wild in many regions, especially along riverbanks or in abandoned areas. Black elderflower has been a frequently used plant species for centuries. Widely used in America, this plant has supportive effects in traditional medicine. However, the raw berries, bark, and leaves of the plant may contain toxic substances. Therefore, it should be used in correct dosages when consumed. To prevent uninformed use, products prepared in correct dosages should be used.

Raw elderberry fruit consists of 80% water, 18% carbohydrates and proteins.

The black elderberry plant contains Vitamin C, iron, and Vitamin B6.

Important Note: If the black elderberry plant is not cooked, the lectin chemicals it contains can become active. This substance can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea. Therefore, it undergoes a heat treatment before consumption. Knowing the correct dosage for cooking and consumption is also extremely important.

What is Sambucus Kids?

It is a raspberry-flavored dietary supplement containing Black Elderberry Extract and Vitamin C. Enriched with Zinc.

Vitamin C: Contributes to the maintenance of the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise, and to normal collagen formation necessary for the normal function of blood vessels.

Ingredients:

Deionized water, honey, sucrose, Elder (Sambucus Nigra) Extract, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), Flavor: Raspberry flavor, preservative: Potassium sorbate (E202), zinc sulphate heptahydrate.

It does not contain additives such as colorants or sweeteners; it is obtained with natural ingredients.

SAMBUCUS KIDS USAGE RECOMMENDATION

Suitable for children aged 4-10 years. For children aged 4-10, it is recommended to take 15ml once a day, in the evening or morning. For adults aged 11 and above, it is recommended to take 15ml twice a day, morning and evening on a full stomach, totaling 30ml daily.
