What is Sambucus Nigra?

Sambucus Nigra, commonly known as Black Elderberry, European Elder, Melesir, or Mindira, is a tree species that can grow 4 to 10 meters tall, with light brown or gray bark and red fruits. Its flowers are short-stemmed, whitish-yellow in color, and have a sharp scent.

In Turkey, Sambucus Nigra is frequently found in the northern Anatolia region around Trabzon in Zigana, in spruce and hornbeam forests around Erzincan Refahiye, around Bolu, Düzce, and Lake Abant, in the Marmara Region around ?zmit and Adapazar?, and in Central Anatolia in moist riverbeds and slopes.

A total of 180 patients participated in an analysis study conducted to investigate the effect of Black Elderberry, scientifically named Sambucus Nigra, on upper respiratory tract infection symptoms, compiling data from 4 different clinical studies. Patients showing symptoms were given black elderberry supplements, and a significant reduction in these symptoms was observed.

Sambucus Nigra Effervescent Consumption Recommendation:

For ages 11 and above, dissolve 1 effervescent tablet in a glass (200 ml) of water and consume. Follow the indicated usage and do not exceed the recommended daily portion.
