Ylang ylang oil is a volatile, natural oil obtained from the ylang ylang plant through the distillation method. The plant, whose Latin name is Cananga odorata, is native to Southeast Asia. The plant naturally contains various volatile components such as herniol, nerol, terpineol, limonene, linalyl acetate, ilangol, and linaolevgenol.
