What is Kuka?
Kuka is the fruit of a tropical tree. This fruit similar to coconut has a solid structure. It was generally used in the health sector during the Ottoman period. The reason for this is that these trees have anti-bacterial properties. For that reason doctors who do not carry a rosary were not allowed into the palaces. The peel of these fruits is also widely used in the manufacture of prayer beads which are distinguished by their impermeability and value with using.
